As Kenyans were glued on their screens watching the proceedings of the second presidential petition, one lady captured their attention with her brilliance and composure. This was exhibited when a seemingly annoyed CJ David Maraga took her to task to explain one twos in regards to the filing of the petition papers.
Her eloquence and wits attracted admiration from many rekindling the memories of Kethi Kilonzo during the 2013 presidential petition.

So, who is Julie Soweto?
Julie Soweto Aullo is the counsel representing the petitioners(Khelef Khalifa and Njonjo Mue) together with Harun Ndubi.
She is one of the finest female lawyers this country and holds a masters degree in law from the University of Pretoria and an L.L.B from the University of Nairobi.
She has 7 years of experience working at Senior Counsel James Orengo's law firm(JAB Orengo Advocates)
She has her own law firm, Soweto and company Advocates, whose one of her notable clients is Kethi Kilonzo.
