In an article published by a local daily on Friday, the former Starehe Parliamentary seat aspirant, who described Raila as an old tree, tipped that the former Premier should retire as he had already honed several politicians around him, praising his contribution to Kenya’s democratic gains.

Thanks Raila, but it’s time for you to retire. While he has done a lot for our democracy, his time is up. Raila is one tree that is now old, and if he wants to be a forest, he must plant more trees and nurture young leaders to take over the mantle. pic.twitter.com/WtaEyYXWxc
