Oh boy child! - The death of the kamba man

7

Woman in a polyandrous marriage

Rael is married to two men whom she says are happy with the setup.

She has 11 children from this marriage.

“Rael Mukeku,35, lives in a grass-thatched, mud-and-wattle hut, the only house occupying a small rocky compound behind Kathekakai Market on the fringes of the Chyulu Hills National Park in Makueni County…” the story in the Daily Nation of 3rd september goes.
Apparently, Rael is in a polyandrous marriage. Married to Muema Nguu (50) and Mutuku Muia (45) for the past 11 years.
Now, these two, I won't even call them men, who collectively have 11 children,  are casual labourers struggling to support their one wife.
     How did it all start?
Its reported that Raels’ physical needs pushed her to get another husband to fulfil them since the first husband, Muema Nguu, who is 50, and sickly, wasn't able to. That Muema requested for a helper and  Rael hesitated not in introducing Mutuku to Muema. The  two then went ahead to strike a deal witnessed by a local elder and one of their adult sons.
Mutuku went ahead and sired 4 children with Rael.
At first, when Muema realised that Rael was pregnant, he wasn't impressed. He says: “Upon realising that he had impregnated her I got mad and warned that such should not be repeated”.
Ladies and gentlemen of honour, what happened to the African manhood in kamba men?
I repeat, what happened?
Is it not for a man to have several women? Is it not prestigious when a man, a real one, marries more than two and sires 10 plus children?
“Real men, in this case African, are instinctively polygamous and cannot be satisfied by one woman due to their deep-rooted appetite for variety. They are intended to seek multiple partners, veritably from a biological perspective. More often than not, only one egg at a time is available in a female’s uterus for fertilization.” asserts Nancy Roxanne, In contrast, males can ejaculate repeated loads of millions of sperm cells in a given day, any one of which can produce an offspring.
Monogamy is a social construct, and even men in such unions are always itching to have more children. So much that it’s their women who worry about family planning. So what is it with these kamba genes?
The kamba man
Muema and Mutuku just represent, and am not apologetic, the whole community. I want to demystify the notion that kamba ladies are beasts in between sheets NO. It's just that when she encounters a real man, the ecstasy and treatment overwhelms her and she gets out her ‘kamba man’ cocoon.
Kamba ladies need real men to extinguish their fire.
Unfortunately, there fellow tribesmen aren't wired to do it.  Look at these two kamba males who sit down and agree to share a woman. Reason being, one can’t just manage her.
Pause for a minute and check on the married kamba ladies you happen to know, how many of them are married to fellow kambas?
You see.
Kamba men and family responsibilities
Talking to a few kamba ladies, one comes to the realisation that once a kamba man puts you in the family way, he doesn't care what happens next to the young one, especially if its a boy, who will definitely require a father figure. The ladies will not even give a damn to look for their baby daddy.
The kamba man cannot stand in the counsel of other men, you know what I mean. He cannot speak in the presence of elders. He doesn't qualify to be one.
It’s only in Ukambani you’ll have problems identifying the male voice and feminine one. I dare you to go to Masaku, Makueni and Kitui counties, I bet, you'll barely find well built 4ft tall men.
Is this why kamba ladies disown their own and run for the other alpha males in the country?
Is it true that real men are born in western, nurtured in nyanza and killed in Ukambani?

The cause of pain in your testes

Testicular pain is a cause of alarm

Testis are very sensitive reproductive organs.

Pain within them can be a cause of alarm

Testes are very sensitive organs in the body of a man. When pain arises from them, its a serious cause of alarm given the importance of testes in reproduction. According to Dr. Joachim Osur, a columnist with the standard paper, testicular pain can be caused by a variety of factors.
First, an acute infection of the testes which may be accompanied by urethral discharge and pains on urination. This kind of pain is chronic and nagging.
Secondly, trauma to the testis can be a source of pain. Sometimes pain in the testis can follow acute trauma such as being hit by an object or falling and injuring the testis.
Thirdly, your lady can be the source of your pain if she roughly handles your genitals during coitus. Ultrasound may reveal internal causes like an enlarged vein called a varicocele that causes pressure in the testis resulting in pain. a varicocele is caused by natural weakness in the veins causing them to balloon. a varicocele, if not treated on time can interfere with spermatogenesis (sperm production) and your general sexual function. This can be corrected by surgery.
So, that time when your eggs pain, run and seek medical help. Death rate is too high.

Boniface Mwangi Shames the President after His State of the Nation Address

Activist and former starehe constituency aspirant Boniface Mwangi is at it again. This is after he outrightly linked President Uhuru's family to corrupt deals.
Mwangi did this through a reply to president Kenyatta's tweet today.
The president had tweeted that,
"Kenyans, on their part, must report any crimes they may come across. Families must feel ashamed by one of their member becoming involved in corruption; they must insist on the upholding of their name as a family "

Boniface then replied to this "President Kenyatta's sister and cousin are among owners of companies suspected to have irregularly pocketted millions of shillings in the sh. 5.3billion "HealthGate" or "Mafya House" scam" Is Boniface becoming too much?

Come On Manchester United - Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez is upbeat and motivated as he prepares for a likely reunion with his former club when Manchester United host Arsenal on Sunday.

Our no.7 enjoyed what he described as the most “perfect” of his 14 appearances so far, during Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup semi-final win over Tottenham Hotspur. The Chilean’s Man-of-the-Match display illustrated his growing assimilation to the Reds after January’s move from the Gunners, though he admits he’s still adapting to the contrasts between the clubs.

“It is very different here,” Alexis told MUTV. “I think United is a club with more history and we want to win trophies next year.         "We need to keep progressing; United is a big club, to which I am still adapting, and I am looking forward to giving everything I’ve got next year and aiming to win everything there is to win.”Jose Mourinho has stated that we won’t see the best of Alexis until next season and the powerful forward’s tireless performance at Wembley was perhaps another indication of what we can expect in the months to come. The 29-year-old will no doubt be looking forward to next month’s return to the national stadium for the cup final against Chelsea, after netting his eighth goal in as many games there to help defeat Spurs.            “The truth is that I score every time I play at Wembley!” he added. “I have won several trophies there with my national team and with Arsenal. With Chile, I also scored two goals and that means a lot to me. Wembley brings me...To read more CLICK HERE

Governor Builds Widow House and Labels it

Generosity is a great virtue so they say. However, the same generosity shouldnt be shouted on top of a house for everyone to know. Is it not the Holy book that says so?

Kakamega County Governor Wycliffe Oparanya

This is not the case in Kakamega County where, through a county initiative, families that dont have decent housing are offered one. The interesting bit is that, after constructing the houses, the county labels the houses as a county initiative. Is it too much of the county government? Have a look

Going For an Interview? You need to Know This About The Questions to be Asked and How to Respond

Common Interview Questions

   1. Tell us about yourself?
The interviewer is not interested in
hearing stories; they simply expect to
know your academic and professional
achievements, your name and the
institution you currently work for.

Take three minutes to introduce
yourself, and state your recent
academic qualification and your
relevant experience.

2. Why do you think you are the best
candidate?
The recruiter expects you to tell them
about your professional achievements
and the unique skills you possess that
will add value to the organization.

If you are a Customer Care person
then you should tell them that you are
a good listener and patient; these are
the qualities the employer is looking
for.

3. What are your weaknesses?
The question is not simple as it looks;
most candidates go blank when they
face this kind of question.

Take your time in explaining why you
can’t leave the office before you
complete a task.

You can also inform them how you are
quick to trust a person, which in most
cases makes you a victim.

4. Where do you see yourself in five
years?
The employer wants to know whether
you are ambitious or you’re the kind
of a person who secures a job and
then you forget about yourself.

Answer the question by stating how
you intend to further your studies and
grow professionally as you strive to
meet your employer’s goals.

5. How do friends describe you?
The question is testing your personal
attributes, when answering it ensure
that you don’t over exaggerate.

Take the shortest time possible to
state the best attribute you possess
that you believe will add value to the
institution.

6. What do you know about this
company?
Before you enter the interview room,
ensure that you go through the
company website to read latest news,
company profile, goals, management
team, objectives, vision and
mission;they will help you answer this
question.

The question expects you to briefly
describe what you read on their
website and not what you imagine of
the company.

7. Do you have any question to ask the
panel?
This is usually the last question that
the interview panel asks
interviewees; if you fail to ask them
questions, you will lose some marks.

Ask them whether they have plans to
expand their business, whether they
support employees to further their
studies and how they motivate employees.

8. What is your salary expectation?
The question is tricky because as a
fresh candidate you don’t have a clue
what to be paid;simply ask them what they pay others of your level , if they fail to give a satisfactory answer then give them a reasonable range.

Ensure you do your research before
you go for an interview because you
will be asked  most of these questions.

Why Men Don't Need Reasons to Have Sex But Women Do - A Womans Account

PART ONE  by Mercy Tracy

A man can cheat on his woman and still love her but a woman cannot cheat on her man and still love him
I say this because while men do not have sex with emotions, women can't have sex without attaching emotions to it. This is the reason men simply need a place to have sex while women need a reason to have sex.

Most women who take their husbands to court for divorce are those that cheat on their men. A non cheating woman would most likely never take her husband to court for divorce, unless the man exceedingly abuses her physically and emotionally to the point of killing her.
Men don't equate sex with love. A man can have sex with another woman but still doesn't love her. That's why women who fell in love with married men find it difficult to find happiness in those relationships as they are just being used by those married men. But once a married woman starts sleeping with you, she can even narrates some hidden secretes concerning her husband and she will even tell you why she hates him (her husband). She can even accept poison from you to eliminate her husband.

For men, sex and love are two different things. But for women, sex and love are one and the same thing. For men, sex comes first before love (infatuation), but for women love comes first before sex (true love). Therefore, once your woman starts having sex with another man/men, her love shifts from you to that man and she can even start giving that man the best food and love than she gives you.

The fact that your man is cheating on you doesn't mean he has stopped loving you. But I can't say the same for women. Once a woman starts cheating on you, she has fallen for someone else and you people will never live the same again. And she can even kill her husband once she starts cheating on him.
If your wife starts cheating, you should be a lucky man not to die in less than 10 years. It has been found that 95% of women who cheat wish their husbands dead. That is the main reason why it is dangerous for a man to continue staying with a wife who cheats on him. That is why is now encouraged everywhere in the world including in the Bible, for a man to divorce his wife only once she starts cheating on him.

Cheating women are more deadly to husbands than ordinarily criminals or weapons. There are many cheating women in the world who invite criminals to break into her house at night only to come and eliminate her man and police officers plus relatives can't detect this as the same woman tend to moan more than any person at the funeral so as to attract sympathy and hide her evil acts.
That's why psychologists discourage women, more than men, from cheating.
Women can't handle the emotional conflict that comes with cheating.
That's the reason an observant and intelligent man will notice that his wife has started cheating on him once he starts doing it because most women tend to lose respect to their husbands and try to avoid sex with them in most times.
Cheating Women will even be giving excuses for not wanting to have sex with their...CLICK HERE to continue reading

Why Men Don't Need Reasons to Have Sex but Women Do - A Womans' Account

PART TWO by Mercy Tracy

CONT....Cheating Women will even be giving excuses for not wanting to have sex with their husbands. Study has revealed that nearly 90% of women who cheat find it hard to have enjoyable sex with their husbands, again an intelligent man will detect this once his wife's behavior with regard to sex start changing.
But a dull man can never detect this and always tolerate fake excuses from his cheating wife until he is completely eliminated.
Study has shown that every relationship begins to flounder once a woman starts cheating. There are many men who cheat on their partners but still show them true love. But it is very hard to find a relationship in which a woman is cheating and things still remain the same.
I repeat, nearly 100% of cheating women wish their husbands quick death or divorce to have unlimited sex freedom while nearly 100% of cheating men can't wish their wives quick death or divorce. That is why most men cant allow their wives to be physically or verbally abused by their girlfriends. Men will always stand for their wives.
A man would cheat but still love and respect his wife / girlfriend but the opposite is true with cheating women.
Once your wife starts sleeping with other men/man, just know that your death is near.
But am not supporting men for cheating because I'm just keeping it real!

Matiang'i must go, Lawyers claim

Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i

The Law Society of Kenya have started afresh battle to oust Interior CS Fred Matiang’i.

This, they say, is due to the controversial shutdown of three television stations back in january. In a suit filed at the Milimani High Court, the standard reports, LSK is also seeking the removal of ICT CS Joe Mucheru.

ThroughLawyer Daniel Musyoka, LSK argued that Matiang’i and Mucheru shut down the T.V stations as a deliberate move to punish them for airing live the swearing in ceremony of the people's president, Raila Odinga on january 30th.

According to the lawyer, there was no state of emergency to warrant the government shutdown of KTN News, Citizen, and Ntv given that the country was not at war.

The power of Words

Dennis Agesa,10th March,2018
(jeffdennihs@gmail.com)
In the days of enlightenment, the world must have groomed potential men and women to lead its affairs through the power of words. If nature was to judge every aspect in me, then it would be evident that I am a product of words.
Everyday I kept acknowledging every single word said to me by my seniors. They might have done this purposely to motivate me, but verily verily, they shaped my destiny.
There is no better way to bend conventional and cruel follies that are imposed in today’s society than motivating someone through words;words that compel individuals to stand up for what they were meant to be.
There is power in words that deflect the attacks of the sharpest words, the fastest bullet, and the most lethal of poisons. Words have the power to create all that is good in this world or wreak annihilation to the very core of a person.
It comes with utter significance to be always a good listener of the word. If you want to deliver a message to inspire someone, then use the power of words.
Today, am extending my hand of respect to every youth out there,be it from the small village where I was born or in the darkest corners of this great nation that is out there inspiring somebody through the word.
By doing that, we help reduce social injustices happening out there. We help build the aspect of resolutions to our inner most fear and atrocities. The youths of today are trying their best to destroy ill-willed social norms that are common to all cultures and traditions. The hope to beyond hope is not in vain.We all must gang up, go in every direction and be the "voice of the voiceless".
It would be best for societies to create motivational groups that will help break all inhumane practices in a tradition or in a social organization.
And as I end, wisdom reminds me of the great words of Patrick Rothfuss
"Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts."

Kenya; The way forward

BY Dennis Agesa,9th March 2018
(jeffdennihs@gmail.com)
On the 12th of December 1963,Kenya was declared an independent state. On that material day,men and women from all walks of life across the country shed tears of joy because a new dawn had come. The voice of hope was heard. And as men, women and children watched our flag being raised, they knew life would never be the same again. The people we entrusted with the leadership mantle never lived to actualise the Kenyan dream. For the last six decades,Kenyans have been unable to find hope, jobs, inspiration and the reason to live. Our youth have become easy victims of war-lords, rabble rousers, demagogues and modern day slave traders. Our youth, who should be the our nation's present and future, have been turned into jobless individuals, illiterates, thieves and modern day lunatics. Dreading the condition in our country today,we are doomed as nation.

Kenya's ruling wits must admit that they are mostly to blame for our problems. They must stop the opportunistic habit of depending on other nations like China and denouncing the same benefactor when Kenya's self-inflicted wounds have become too obvious. Unless there is a change of mindset, Kenyan elites will continue to act like a herd, yesterday behind the West or East, today the West or China and tomorrow it could be sad.
Our leaders must recognise that we as a people are sovereign and therefore, a first priority. Of these interests, nothing is more important than the right to life, security, health, education and livelihoods. It is in this context that Kenyan leaders must stop denying fundamental human rights to their population. Freedom and equal opportunity will unleash entrepreneurial energy that has historically transformed other societies. They must invest in education, health, rural and urban areas where the majority of poor Kenyan's live as well as small and medium enterprises. In all these areas, women and youth should be given priority.
Our leaders must have a clear and robust strategy to exit from being the dependent patient, in and out of rehab or intensive care of aid.Kenya's natural wealth must beget value. Kenya's export of natural resources, national revenues, foreign investments and aid money must be deployed and recycled into developing capital, knowledge and skills to create value-added products and services. This is the trajectory of wealth creation that the rich aid-givers of today follow.
The ruling class must prevent the internal tribal conflict. The antidote to this is to democratize and enlarge the circle of people’s participation in governance, strengthen the rule of law and nurture a culture of dialogue and peaceful resolution of conflicts.
Finally, Kenyan rulers must heed the wisdom from all cultures of the world. Human progress is not solely about building material abundance and registering GDP growth, important as they are for human survival. Creative imagination, innovation, science, technology and entrepreneurship proceed from human’s quest to improve their lot.Kenyans must learn from their own achievements and flaws and those of other societies to nurture the wellbeing and resilience of individuals, families, communities and nation.

Has Larry Madowo Called it Quits at NMG?

Larry Madowo (twitter)

NTV news anchor Larry Madowo has left his fan base confused after he edited his Twitter handle and removed any attachment he has with the Nation Media Group (NMG) and NTV,
Business Today reports.
Initially, Madowo’s twitter handle indicated he was, among others, an NTV news anchor as well as the technology editor.
Now, the handle’s profile plainly states he is a journalist, leaving many wondering whether he is about to exit NTV as recent reports have indicated. In addition to editing his Twitter bio, Madowo on Wednesday morning posted a poetic passage from Charles Dicken’s A tale of Two Cities, further heightening the speculation:
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it
was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it
was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity,
it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness,
it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”

Madowo has recently been unease at how things are panning out at Nation Centre. He first made his stand known last month when he took on CEO Joe Muganda, who has since left the company for Vivo Energy, demanding to know why the management was quiet following threats issued to journalist Justus Wanga by Deputy President William Ruto’s media aide, David Mugonyi.  Muganda curtly responded that he was being “condescending.”

At the same meeting, Madowo revealed how Editor-in-Chief Tom Mshindi had threatened to discontinue his #FrontRow column in the Daily Nation for attacking Interior Cabinet Secretary  Dr Fred Matiang’i’s style of management.

NTV Managing Editor, Linus Kaikai has left the Aga Khan owne media house, online news sites Business Today and Pulse Live have reported. Kaikai was seen at Nation Centre casually dressed and appeared to be in the process of clearing with management. Archives managers from the NMG library were also seen busy working on his office computers.

His exit from NMG came as it was conclusively established that he will be taking over from Farida Karoney as Royal Media Services Chief Operations Officer following her appointment as Lands Cabinet Secretary.
Business Today reports that, Kaikai, who holds a Masters Degree in Journalism from the University of Westminster, in London United Kingdom, initially worked for the Kenya Television Network (KTN) until June 1999. He then spent 8 years working at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) rising through the ranks from correspondent to Bureau Chief. He returned to KTN in 2007 as Managing Editor in charge of Quality and Product Development. He spent two years at KTN before taking up his current posting at NTV.
